Le pape veut béatifier Pie XII mais toujours pas canoniser Jean XXIII
Benoît XVI a souhaité la poursuite du procès en béatification de Pie XII jeudi, lors d'une messe au Vatican à la mémoire de ce pape décédé il y a 50 ans. Ce pape, très conservateur, est pourtant l'objet d'une controverse, notamment en raison de son attitude passive et silencieuse face à la Shoah.
.e Vatican a déjà béatifié Josémaria Escrivà , fondateur de l'Opus Dei. Et pendant ce temps, Jean XXIII, le grand initiateur de Vatican II, attend toujours.
