Tropiques amers : Un téléfilm sur l'esclavage à ne pas rater le 10 mai
Parce que regarder l'histoire en face n'est pas de la "haine de soi", ne ratez pas ce téléfilm, très fort et non manichéen :
Tropiques amers, une grande fresque historique et épique sur l'esclavage et son abolition au 18ème siècle.
La mer des Caraïbes est alors le théâtre d'un vaste brassage de cultures et de nationalités. Français, Anglais, Allemands, Hollandais,Portugais, Espagnols, Italiens, Américains débarquent sur ces nouvelles Terres et déportent par milliers des hommes et des femmes venus d'Afrique.
Suivez, pendant plus de 20 ans, les destins des maîtres et des esclaves qui se croisent et s'affrontent : les uns venus faire fortune, les autres luttant jour après jour pour survivre et gagner un peu de liberté.
