Bernard Birsinger est décédé
Le 25 août 2005, Bernard Birsinger, maire de Bobigny depuis 1995 est décédé d'une crise cardiaque.
Son action, comme député, lors du Pacs avait été fondamentale.
Il avait été le premier maire à prendre un arrêté interdisant toute expulsion locative.
Près de 2000 personnes ont assisté à ses funerailles
