"The Death Of Pope John Paul II...Also A Sad Day For The Muslims

Wed 13 Apr 2005

As a Muslim believer, I was so much attracted to their views which amazingly were similar to my Islamic beliefs and views on many vital issues such as Abortion and the unborn child, sexuality, women, family, reproduction, morality etc I became aware of the great ideas, beliefs and fascinating statements of Pope John Paul II in 1994 when I attended the International UN Conference on Population and Development in Cairo/Egypt where I was introduced to the Delegates of the Holy See who represented the Pope and the Vatican.

As a Muslim believer, I was so much attracted to their views which amazingly were similar to my Islamic beliefs and views on many vital issues such as Abortion and the unborn child, sexuality, women, family, reproduction, morality etc. Since then, we worked together for the same Divine values which we believed in and shared. Following, we participated in ten International UN Conferences including: Beijing, Copenhagen, Istanbul, Rome and New York etc. As Muslims and Catholics (Holy See, Catholic NGOs) we campaigned and lobbied the attendees. We spoke the same language as Pro-life Pro-family NGOs.

We jointly Campaigned for:

The life of the unborn, chastity, femininity, marriage/family values reproduction, motherhood Natural family planning, parental responsibility, respect to religious beliefs and values, Sovereignty of each country etc.

We jointly Campaigned against:

Abortion, adultery/fornication, population control, homosexuality and lesbianism, prostitution, sex education, school based clinics, contraception, especially outside marriage, and against many of the dangerous harmful contraceptive techniques... We enjoyed working together for the same GOD and for the same Divine values and concerns.

Because of the good work we have been doing together, I was honoured in 1995 to meet for the first time Pope John Paul II in the Vatican in Rome (See photo B). We spoke together and I presented to the Pope a copy of the Holy Book AL QUR'AN (English/Arabic). Then in 1996, I met the Pope again (see photo A) when I presented to him a book titled «Jesus and Mary in the QUR'AN» and a Muslim letter (in both: Polish and English languages)/(see copy) where I explained the Muslim beliefs regarding the many common Divine values, which we all share together: in Islam and Catholicism/Christianity. I appealed strongly to the Pope in this letter to work together for all humanity.

Today, Muslims as myself are saddened by the lose of a great friend to us ,a Strong continuous Campaigner for God's moral Pro-life, Pro-family values.

Pope John Paul II, was a great inspiration to all of us at all times especially at the International UN Conferences!
