Auteur d'une pétition de députés s'opposant à ce qu'un couple d'homosexuels puisse jamais adopter, il a déclaré : "Autant je peux comprendre que les homosexuels puissent désirer un enfant, autant je ne le trouve pas souhaitable pour les enfants. Ceux-ci ont besoin de référents. Depuis toujours, un couple, c'est un papa et une maman. Si ça marchait, les homosexuels pour faire des enfants, ça se saurait ! N'ajoutons pas un handicap à l'enfant. Rappellons que monsieur Muselier est adjoint au maire de Marseille, Jean-Claude Gaudin.
